Florida Roosters Get a Break... Cockfighting Ring Busted Near Tampa

TAMPA -- About sixty roosters and four dogs got what could be the biggest break of their lives. They've been seized by Hillsborough deputies who were breaking up a cockfighting ring.

Deputies raided the location at 3727 70th Street South Tuesday morning. They also found a stolen weapon from Pasco County and a small amount of marijuana. The Sheriff's Office says they also made four arrests... Irma Arcaya, 54, Rogel Martinez Perez, 76, Pedro Rodriguez, 54, and Lazo Fernandez, 71, are accused on various charges included owning animal fighting equipment and possession of an animal for fighting. They're looking for a fifth person, Raul Gonzalez Torres, 37, who faces similar chrges as well as aggravated animal cruelty.
