Florida Health Department Reports Measles Case in Pinellas County

CLEARWATER (WFLA News) -- Florida reports its second case of the measles this year.

The state Health Department office in Pinellas County says a 72 year old man who traveled to Asia has the illness.

It's the second measles case in Florida this year... the first was reported in Broward County in March.

The Pinellas office of DOH is offering measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccinations free of cost to anyone under 18, and $85.67 for adults, without an appointment, at these locations:

205 MLK Street North, St Petersburg

6350 76th Avenue North, Pinellas Park

8751 Ulmerton Road, Largo

310 N. Myrtle Avenue, Clearwater

301 S. Disston Avenue, Tarpon Springs
