Charges Dropped Against Last Officer In Freddie Gray Case

Administrative charges have been dropped against the last Baltimore Police officer facing disciplinary action in the Freddie Gray case.  Police Commissioner Kevin Davis has issued a statement saying Sergeant Alicia White faces no further administrative actions.  Davis noted that 2 previous disciplinary trials resulted in acquittals and proceeding with White's hearing would not be in good faith.  The police trial board previously cleared Lieutenant Brian Rice and Officer Caesar Goodson on allegations that they violated department protocols and policies when Gray was arrested in April of 2015.

Gray suffered a severe spinal injury while being transported in a police van.  He was not secured in a seat belt and died as a result of his injuries.
